A path to evaluation

Start with a question.
Agree the boundaries.

A useful evaluation begins with a defined leadership question and a shared understanding of what would count as useful.

sanalytics is in development. Today’s private walkthroughs use synthetic data. This page describes a possible future process, not an available hospital deployment.

Two distinct steps

Explore first.
Scope separately.

A synthetic walkthrough can help leaders understand the approach and identify questions worth testing. It does not assess a hospital’s data or authorize its transfer.

Before any real hospital use, a future evaluation would require separate review and written agreement on scope, data handling, access, responsibilities, and how the work would be assessed.

Begin with a synthetic walkthrough
  1. 01

    Define the question.

Choose a bounded operating question, the people accountable for reviewing it, and the evidence needed to judge usefulness.

  2. 02

    Agree the conditions.

Set the data, privacy, security, access, and organizational requirements before work begins. Human responsibility remains explicit.

  3. 03

    Review what was learned.

Assess usefulness and limitations against agreed criteria. Further work would require a separate decision.
